Welcome to Rosehill Acres Pet Resort!

Rosehill Acres Pet Resort is located on a 38-acre paradise of forest, ponds, trails and wildlife. Located less than 10 minutes from Bobcaygeon and Buckhorn and less than 40 minutes from Peterborough and Lindsay. ​Our facility is a 1500 sq. ft. temperature controlled building that keeps our furry friends happy and comfortable all year round. The facility has large windows, leather furniture and a cozy wood-burning stove for those chilly winter days. There are 14 suites for our pup guests, each include a large raised bed and individual raised food/water station. Outdoors, we have 6 separate fenced-in play areas, picnic tables, climbing chairs, pools, a tire obstacle course and leather furniture on our covered porch - giving our guests plenty of activities to keep them busy and active no matter the time of year. There are 3 kitty condos for our feline guests in a separate area, aptly named the "Catnap Cottage". The "Catnap Cottage" has a large leather chair, cozy rug and wall of climbing shelves. Each condo includes a cozy bed, stainless litter pan, raised food/water dishes, hammock and toys. ​We offer short and long term stays to all sizes, breeds and ages of dogs/cats and cater to medical/special needs, as needed.

"Stay & Play"

Overnight Dog Lodging

Our "Stay & Play" program is open 365 days per year and all pup guests are permitted to play in small groups of 3-6 pups during their stay or can have 1:1 space outdoors with staff to ensure their exercise and care needs are met. All pups have their own sleeping/eating areas.

Cost:

$44.25+hst per night (1 dog)

$35.40+hst per night (additional pup siblings)

"Catnap Cottage"

Overnight Cat Lodging

Our "Catnap Cottage" is open 365 days per year, providing individual 3-tiered cat condos in a separate section of the facility to provide a quiet and comfortable space for our feline guests. All cats are given 1:1 snuggles, treats and free play time throughout the day.

$26.55+hst per night (1cat)

$44.25+hst per night (2 cats sharing a room)

"Day Camp"

Doggy Daycare

Our doggy "Day Camp" runs Monday through Thursday each week, from 8am-6pm. We take a maximum of 5 pups per day with preference given to pups who attend on a regular weekly basis. Casual spaces are filled on a first-come first-served basis when availability permits.

Cost:​

$31+hst per day 

$278.76+hst per 10 pack (no expiry/

can't be combined with overnight lodging)

What are your operating hours?

DROP-OFF and PICK-UP TIMES:

Monday to Friday: 8-10am and 4-6pm

Saturday: 8-10am

Sunday: 9-11am and 3-5pm

Statutory Holidays: 1-4pm

**CLOSED FOR DROP-OFF/PICK-UP CHRISTMAS EVE DAY, CHRISTMAS DAY and BOXING DAY. 

What are the requirements for my dog/cat to attend Rosehill Acres?

DOGS: All pups must be spayed/neutered and be up to date on their Rabies and DAPP vaccines. Proof is required before or at time of drop-off. 

CATS: All cats must be spayed/neutered and be up to date on their Rabies and FVRCP vaccines. Proof is required before or at time of drop-off.

What should we bring when we drop-off our dog/cat?

When you bring you dog or cat to stay at Rosehill Acres, we will need the following:

  • Food- enough for the duration of their stay (does not need to be portioned out but can be - we will take down feeding instructions at drop off)
  • Proof of up to date vaccinations- hard copy or online copy are both accepted
  • Any special items- medications, supplements, etc. that are needed during their stay
  • At least one emergency contact name/number to go on file

Although we do provide all other necessities (beds, bowls, blankets, treats, toys) feel free to send in anything that may make your pup feel at home. Some examples are:

  • Own bed or blanket
  • Treats, toys or stuffies
  • Outdoor clothing or boots for colder weather

Are you a licensed and insured business?

Yes, we are!

We are a licensed kennel facility with the Municipality of Trent Lakes and we insured with ProFur.
